That car is sweet, and I still think that a modern diesel engine is the way to go for law enforcement (longevity, fuel savings and they are just as quick as current gas engines).

Back to the company though. I stumbled on them on the internet more than 5 years ago. Shortly after that, their website went down, and no one knew what happened to them. For some reason it has recently become popular again. The company has tons to do, and needs serious cash-flow to do it. Plus the cost of the car is out of control. Feel free to email them w/ questions. They are like Kirby salesman though trying to get you involved in the "development" .... I expected them to ask me to send them a check to help w/ funding. Their thought is that agencies will shell out tons more cash for the car (at least twice the cost of our CV's), but save in the long run because the cars are said to be good for 250,000 plus miles ..... hmmmmmmm. Engine might last that long, but there is no way it would still drive straight after that many miles, or have decent seats or working windows/air/heat/radio/etc...

I still think the CV is the better choice, it just needs one of Ford's more modern (powerful and fuel efficient) engines, and their awesome 6 speed automatic.

Oh, and DeBoer ...... I haven't seen anything showing that they would offer Goon size. Oh crud, what was it they said in sensitivity/harassment training??

"I don't know gentlemen...I think it looks a little "too" intimidating. That wouldn't be good for community policing. We wouldn't want the public to think that you're all a bunch of storm troopers now, would we?"

I'm sure there are a bunch of police and sheriff's administrators out there thinking it. You just know there are.
