Just got home from a great day out on the boat with salmonhead charters. I was 1st mate today and my brother Paul was the captain.

we slammed the fish and ended up with a limit catch by 11:00. We fished out of South Haven in 80-100 ft of water. Spoons were the key with orange and whites taking most of the 22 hits we had.

Tim Smith and his brother in law Bob were our customers. Ask one of them and they will tell you how much fun we had. They will probably tell you how good the salmon filets are too. I hope they come out with us again soon.

I spoke with Tim today. He said he and his bro-in-law had an excellent time. Had only good to say. Was very impressed with how professional the whole thing was. If any of you are thinking of doing a "big lake" charter, please give Jason's brother a call! He will treat you right.
