The Grand Rapids Press is reporting that visitation for Grand Rapids Police Department Officer Robert Kosminski will be open to the public 24 hours a day until friday at 8:00 a.m.

Formal visitation is from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today and Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 2510 Richmond St. NW. However, the public may pay respects at the church throughout the day or night.

Services for Kozminski will be 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 2000 Walker Ave. NW, Grand Rapids.

The procession to the cemetery will go east on Richmond Street from the church, south on Oakleigh Avenue to Leonard Street, east on Leonard to Walker Avenue, then north on Walker to the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Those attending only the funeral should park at Holy Spirit Church at 2230 Lake Michigan Drive and ride a provided shuttle to the service.

Grand Rapids Mayor George Heartwell is asking residents to observe a moment of silence at 11 a.m. Friday.
