According to an article in the  Grand Rapids Press, Grand Rapids Police Chief Harry Dolan has begun the process of analyzing the shooting death of Officer Robert Kozminski to see what we could do better in the future to prevent tragic Officer deaths like his.

"I don't know of anything Officer Kozminski could have done," he said, in his first extensive interview since the officer's slaying outside VanVels' home, 1233 Emerald Ave. NE.
