At approximately 3:00 p.m. on August 8th, 2007 East Grand Rapids Public Safety Officer Michael Winchester was killed in an off-duty motorcycle accident near Alden Nash and 36th Ave in Kent County. Officer Winchester was a 5 year veteran of the East Grand Rapids PSO and a graduate of Lake Superior State University. No word yet on who Officer Winchester leaves behind, but our thoughts and prayers are with his family and our brothers and sisters at EGRPS. |
