The owners confronted Knight and he ran leaving behind a shoe and his screwdriver. Choosing probably the worst of his available options, Knight then hid in a port-a-potty at the construction site. Of course the construction workers, being practical fellows, came quickly to the conclusion that the easiest way to keep Knight around until the police got there was to tip it over, door down. When police arrived Knight was covered in the contents of toilets holding tank which of course had been fermenting in the summer Tamba Bay sun. Some unfortunate officer (surely the one with the least seniority on scene) then lodged Knight at the Orient Road Jail on two counts of burglary of a vehicle and one charge of grand theft. |
