| Murder Suspect Kills himself in Grand Rapids |

According to this Grand Rapids Press article, Robert Dwayne Echols charged into a Holland area apartment Danica Flournoy shared with her mother at about 2:30 p.m. yesterday and asked her, "Where's my money?" According to witness Julia Anderson, who was in the apartment at the time this occured, Echols did not wait for an answer before he shot Danica Flournoy in the head. Echols then fled the scene. Officials have said that Holland City Police Department Officers then went to the Grand Rapids area searching for Echols at his home and the home of an associate on the south east side of Grand Rapids. Reports indicate that a Grand Rapids Police Department Officer saw a subject matching Echols description running through a cemetary and chased him to a nearby apartment complex where the man, believed to be Echols, shot himself in the face as three officers ordered him to the ground.
